Pindwara to Udaipur on NH76 - Falling in love!

The beautiful road and mesmerising countryside while riding on NH76
Four lanes, not a single vehicle in your line of sight and a smoothly done road that helps you cruise easily over 120 kmph, NH76 (connecting Pindwara to Allahabad) has on offer all this and more.  I bet this is the one of the best roads I had been on, in this trip. It was absolutely empty, with a couple of vehicles crossing you once in probably half an hour or so. It runs through a wonderful countryside with mesmerizing views of the surroundings. You happen to cut through the hills many a times while at times run through a flat brown surface. The smoothness of the ride and beautiful countryside take you to a different world altogether – probably the United States. However as you cross the tunnels enroute, you suddenly realize you are in India. The tunnels here resemble an entrance to a fort or a royal haveli unlike the ones you would have ever seen earlier. Cattle could be spotted walking over and at times they also get replaced by the locals. Surprisingly with so less traffic, I wondered if a four laner was really required. But the very next moment I was happy for it being there and making my day! I surely was fell in love that day – with NH76 & would one day want to cover it in its entirety.
